Why we built it

Buying a car at this end of the market has always asked for two things most people do not have together: the full amount in cash, and enough trust in a stranger to hand it over. Everything else — the inspection, the paperwork, the wait — sits on top of that.

Altisautor Motors exists to take both problems apart. Every car is inspected and documented before it is listed, so what you are buying is on the page rather than in a phone call. And the money side is broken into pieces that fit: pay in full if you can, monthly if that suits you better, or take a share of a car rather than the whole thing.

That last part is the one people ask about most. A car that will sell for more than it cost is an asset, and there is no reason the return on it should only be available to whoever could afford the whole vehicle. Members fund a car together, each holding a stated share, and each takes their part of the profit when it sells.

What that means in practice

  • Every listing carries its condition, mileage, history and inspection result.
  • Instalment quotes are calculated by us and stored against your application, not typed in by a salesperson.
  • Funding shares are worked out against what a campaign actually raised, so a car funded to 80% still splits correctly.
  • Deposits, purchases, returns and withdrawals all move through one wallet, with a reference on every line.
  • Nothing moves without an email to you saying so.

Figures in writing

Prices, instalment terms, expected returns and holding periods are stated up front and stored against your order. A later change to our rates cannot rewrite what you agreed.

Money handled carefully

Funds sit in your wallet under your name. Withdrawals only ever go to an address a reviewer has checked, and every movement is confirmed by email.
